Trailer mounted
36" x 15' x 1440 psi
4 Phase Test Unit w/10,000 psi Sand Trap
Recently completed and delivered, this trailer mounted test package includes a
4th sand phase inside the 36" x 15' separator, and a 10,000 psi sand trap. The
customer requested a heavy duty unit that could withstand the rigors of traveling back-country roads as well as high
pressure jobs. In addition to the 4th phase, the separator includes a sparger which facilitates removal of accumulated
sand without shutting in the well. Another unique feature is the hydraulically powered 10K sand trap which is mounted in a frame that
allows it to rotate 90 degrees from the horizontal travel position to vertical operation with the push of a button.

42" x 10' x 1440 psi Test Unit
We built the test separator shown
above from a surplus 3 phase separator for an overseas customer. Requirements specified it be able to operate in a variety of environments including
off-shore, swamp, jungle, and desert. It features a full lifting frame with roof surrounding a 42" x 10' x 1440# 3 phase separator.
Enhancements include a built in shrinkage tester, a comingle manifold with by-pass capability, and a grated floor with sealed pan to capture spills.
The unit has a 4" Daniel Sr meter run, Barton Chart Recorder, Halliburton flow meters, and three site glasses showing interface, oil, and water levels.

Above is a 4 phase test separator built for an overseas customer. Sand is
captured by a sand weir and can then be blow out using the built-in sand
sparger. The test separator does not have to be shut in during the sand
purging process. To the right is a close up of the connections and comingle
manifold on the same unit. |

42" x 10' x 1440 psi Trailer Mounted Test Package
This trailer mounted test package includes a
42" x 10' x 1440# 3 phase separator with a 20" x 7' x 5800# sand trap.
Enhancements include a folding catwalk, pipe rack, junk baskets, full comingle manifold with by-pass capability, and an
instrument panel for centralized access to data.
The trailer is a 42' step deck with pnuematic brakes and a king hitch.

Mountain Equipment
designed and built this trailer mounted Testing unit at right to meet the
customer's requirement for portability, quick set up, and high reliability. It
features a 30" x 15' x 1,440 psi refurbished horizontal three phase separator
that is front-ended by a 22" x 8' x 5,000 psi vertical sand trap. The trailer
includes a pipe rack on the other side to facilitate transport of necessary
pipe. This unit is capable of handling approximately 27MM SCF/Day of gas and
3,400 BBL/Day of fluid..
Below is a 53" (48" ID) x 10' x 1440# 3 phase test separator. This unit is
typically used for multi-well testing since it has a small footprint but can
handle large volumes of gas and liquids -- up to 115MM SCFD gas and 21,000 BPD
